Download the files, follow the included guide and connect your product. Five clear steps, with the search system already built. You control the infrastructure, domain and integration. Follow the version-specific README for the exact commands.
Plan for around 15 minutes of hands-on configuration if you are familiar with deployment and your Cloudflare account and tools are ready. This is an estimate, not a timed benchmark or guarantee. Downloading, uploading and importing the full library take additional time; first-time setup and custom integration may take longer.
Sign in with Pro Unlimited, then download the search-system package and icon library below. Keep the included README, source metadata and license notices with your files.
The supplied deployment targets your Cloudflare account: a Worker for the API, D1 for the search catalogue and R2 for SVG storage. A traditional server requires adapting the supplied code.
Follow the package README: apply D1 migrations, then import SQL files in manifest order and run the verification SQL. Upload the original SVGs to R2 without changing their set/name paths.
Set the CATALOG_DB binding and your own ASSET_BASE_URL in the Worker configuration. Configure the asset bucket’s browser access rules, then deploy the API to your domain.
Check /health, try /api/search and display the returned svg_url values. Add your own access controls, caching and monitoring. You operate the service and decide how your product uses it.

Noun Project: $25 minimum; $0.0095 per icon call. Extra service calls cost $0.0025 each and are excluded. The standard plan stops at 150,000 icon calls/month; one million needs a custom quote.
IconScout: Basic is $99 for 1,500 credits; Growth is $499 for 10,000. One icon download uses one credit. Search is free. Its separate free-content plan includes 500 monthly credits; it can cost $0 at low volumes. Ask for a custom high-volume quote.
Each row uses an illustrative monthly hosting budget for that download volume. These are planning assumptions, not provider quotes or measured costs. Actual hosting depends on storage, bandwidth, search workload, caching and your deployment.
Actual queries, traffic and shared-account usage can change your bill. Hosting is metered. The one-time $79 Pro Unlimited license, domain, setup, maintenance, backups and tax are extra. This is a model, not a measured average or capacity guarantee.
